What a great little gem tucked away among the office complex in San Rafael! Pleasant, with indoor and outdoor tables, it feels casual & inviting. The folks there are super welcoming and helpful, and will help with all questions. I had the vegetarian tacos with homemade horchata, my brother had a meal w fresh squeezed orange juice. Their flan is homemade w real eggs & no filler. Yum. I will be coming back to this hidden gem.

I went in there to go use the restroom I wanted to pay for some thing she gave me an item. I didn’t ask for and charge me more money. She was also very rude and didn’t have any straws. You should not discriminate against someone because they need to use the bathroom I was going to pay for something anyway and I did but I will never come back here if this is how you treat your customers.

Love this little place. The staff treated us like we were regulars even though this is the first time I’ve been here. Food was excellent, and the location is hard to find but its really cool because it’s in the sender of a courtyard

Hadn’t been here in years! Great lunch in a quiet outdoor courtyard with tables under shade from umbrellas. I got a combo with green chicken enchilada and beef Taco with rice and beans. Delicious watermelon agua.

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot, coming from Phoenix, AZ. Literally everything was bland and wrong. Pico was a bowl of chopped onions where I had to dig to find 1 lone hunk of tomato. The chimi was as dry on the inside as on the outside and covered in a red crust with dry Parmesan cheese on top. I had to pour the whole bowl of onions (pico) AND the water textured, chunk/free “hot salsa” on the rice and refried beans to get any sort of flavor at all.

Dig the vibes, food comes from a small kitchen. My favorite mole sauce. I come here time after time, even though there’s not a full bar, their food is wondrous. Why are we allowed such beauty?

Casa Mañana was a longtime favorite of mine (going back to the 1990s), but it is currently a very pale shadow of what it used to be. I stopped in two weeks ago for brunch, and was disappointed with the quality of food (the chicken in my chicken poblano appeared to be sorely undercooked), and with the cleanliness of the bathroom (dirty and no toilet paper, no paper towels). Also, their once rice-based horchata is now milk-based. I will give them another try real soon and update my review if things have improved.
