The grilled octopus was excellent. Especially love that it’s paired with fruits at room temp like mango and papaya. Very yummy. The sesame chicken was pretty dry though. We also had the bulgogi and the flavor was pretty good but was a bit too one note after a couple bites. And the lighting was a bit too low but overall pretty good experience!

We had an exceptional experience at Casa Sensei today. Yes, the food was amazing. Meat cooked to perfection, flavors delightful, presentation lovely. However, the service was beyond our expectations. Coming here was the highlight of our day, thanks to Blake. He is the kind of employee everyone needs as part of their business. Professional, confident, personable—makes everyone feel like family. His positive attitude lightened a somewhat difficult day. Not only did he help us feel comfortable by sharing favorite menu items, he also took time to help our daughters improve their chopstick skills. From the tasty popcorn starter to the cotton candy surprise ending, our experience was 10 stars. 5 stars for the restaurant. Another 5+ for Blake. Thank you!

I’ve been wanting to check out this spot for some time now so when I decided to take my husband out for date night I knew I had full control. I loved all the options on the menu and it was so hard for us to decide. Our waiter Parker was amazing. He was welcoming, gave us his preferences when we asked for suggestions and was very attentive to us (and this place was BUSY) so that says a lot. Customer service top notch from everyone that greeted us or served our table. We loved all the food and drinks we selected! Definitely will be back to try brunch and experience the day time atmosphere which I hear can be pretty live.

Casa Sensei’s take on Asian cuisine misses the mark on authenticity. The appetizers were passable; however, the grilled octopus only had flavor on the surface, and the guacamole with taro chips was excessively spicy. The presence of lobster in the guacamole was puzzling. Both main courses featured fried rice with the same base, disappointing in a restaurant of this price range. The biggest issue was the rice being overly soft, lacking texture.

Blake was the most patient, wonderful, friendly server. He made us feel at home and helped us select the perfect sushi rolls and drinks from the extensive menu. We had the Eye of the Tiger and the Maxxx rolls — so delicious! The view of the water was amazing. This is a must for sushi lovers, and you will want to ask for Blake!

Love everything about this place! Don’t forget to order the grilled octopus, too good to be missed! Tender, juicy and bursting with flavors. I am also very glad that I ordered the chimichuri steak. The pad thai and fried rice came in super generous portion, but didn’t taste as special as the octopus and steak. Ask for a table outside to get a nice view by the canal, great place to dine in summer.

July 1st 2023, walk in, party of 1, 7pm. Bar was full, Sushi bar available. Quickly greeted and placed order for Cadillac Marg and Pork dumplings. Marg Dumpling not bad, bit soggy for fried. Sushi bar has awfully bright overhead lighting and is basically in the host waiting area. UGH! Was crowded trying to eat n drink. Finally noticed space at the bar open, moved. Ordered lamb chops from yet another very attractive and attentive server. Great meal. Little sweet but definitely fantastic lamb. Theve an amazing water front dinning area if u want to dine outside. It’s Florida though so watch the heat for outdoors
