We celebrated our 25th Anniversary at CasaLina, and it was wonderful. The atmosphere is fantastic. The new renovations to the restaurant are bright and inviting. The food was delicious. We had an appetizer, dinner and dessert and enjoyed it all. Great to have a nice new restaurant that works for a casual dinner or a special celebration! Great job!

Had a fantastic Italian meal at CasaLina. Great entrees and desserts. Full wine and beer selection. Wait staff was quick and attentive. Good place for a meal after work or after a Williamstown Theatre Festival show.

First, the service was excellent. Our server was very good. However, the food was tasteless. No spice, bland sauce. Peas in the seafood Fra Diablo, over cooked calimari appetizer. There were 7 of us a medium rare steak came out well done. The server took it back and returned with a medium steak. A clam and mussel dish was served with three out of six closed. Very disappointed with the meal since we had read great reviews.

I just returned from dinner at Casa Lina, and sadly, I will not return. The meal started out nicely, my parents and I enjoyed an appetizer and some wine. Once the meals were served, I realized that I was not given the correct enteee. I ordered the seafood risotto which, on the menu, is supposed to come with scrod, scampi shrimp, and calamari. What was served to me was a plate with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari. This was not what I ordered and told the waitress, who informed me that I was correct and brought the dish away to be fixed. Then she returned with the same plate, just with scrod added. At this point we asked to see the menu to read the description, which clearly stated that the dish came with scrod, shrimp, and calamari. I explained to the waitress that I do not like mussels or clams, and this was not the dish I ordered. I then decided to order a completely different dish (chicken parm) because I did not want another problem to arise. My main issue is that no one came out to apologize about what had happened. No manager, no owner, no one higher up than the waitress, who treated us as if we were wrong. We later noticed the chef and owner come out and say thank you to other tables and to say good bye to other customers. No one came to our table to even do that. We felt as though the problem was ignored and we were being given the cold shoulder, after spending ample money there. This is very poor service. To add to this, the food was mediocre and overpriced. I live in Williamstown and frequent the restaurants here. I thought I would take my parents who were visiting for a nice dinner, that ended with a damper on the evening. I will not be back, and I would not recommend this establishment to any of my local or visiting friends.
