Went in near closing at 8 pm. Four teen-agers “in charge”–no adult in sight. They took about 15 minutes to fill four simple sandwich orders and did not serve what we ordered. We asked if, given that they served us just before closing, whether we could stay after 8 to finish what they served. One teen girl said, “Yes.” Promptly just before 8, and adult male appeared and told us we had to be out by 8, ushered us out, then locked the door. Incompetent service, bad food and rude behavior. Next time, it will be a different Casapulla’s or Capriottis.

I’ve had my share of cheesesteaks, but I have to admit this is one of the best cheesesteaks with fried onions and mushrooms that I’ve ever had! I did order extra meat, well worth the money. The roll was fresh and soft and absolutely a delicious sandwich!

Was excited for this place to come to Hockessin but seems like there’s always an issue. Not answering the phone, missing items in my order, and now today we were gifted a meal and when we went to pick it up, were told it wasn’t there. It was ordered and ready after all in the end, but we were told there was an issue with the payment and we had to pay for it. Not sure how that is acceptable when the payment should have been processed upon when it was ordered, not when the gift recipient comes to pick it up. There’s a lot of other places to eat in the area we have had better experiences with. Seems like this location is run by teenagers mishandling information for the customers.

I grew up eating Casapulla’s subs from the original (I think) store in Elsmere. I haven’t had one in years. We got subs from Hockessin spot over the weekend and I instantly remembered why Casapulla’s is the best! Absolutely perfect!

Whenever I call the staff is always so good on the phone, making sure my order is correct before we hang up. The Italian subs are made the way ITALIAN subs are suppose to be made! The onion rings…❤️crispy! The young staff (I say young, younger than me) who work there, hustle and are pleasant,smile and are always attentive. Great place! Keep up the good work, and I will keep on coming in!

So this review was tough to write because I’ve also had some good experience here. I ordered the Turkey Stuffer sub only to find out when I got home that it was made with lunch meat instead of real turkey like your local competitor. It just wasn’t the same and was a huge dinner disappointment.

I ordered a cheesesteak and it was not up to par. It was dry, and very salty. I only ate half. 3 stars because the french fries were delicious and and very freshly made, with the skin still on. I will add my friend adores the Italian sub. Says it’s the best he’s ever had. So maybe if you want a hot sandwich, look elsewhere.

I tried to go after work the other night. Google and the sign on their door said they would still be open, but they were closed 20 minutes early. I went back tonight for take out, craving a wrap and to see the new location. The wraps and subs my family ordered were small. A disappointing experience.
