Worst Casey’s I’ve ever been to. For starters the sign off HWY 20 for gas is a hoax. You have to go another 5 miles to get there. Then I get to Casey’s and the pump is not working properly. I enter the store to over 8 people standing in line. A worker is standing at the end of the line chatting with customers while the poor lady at the counter is busting her hump. I ask the lady are the pumps prepay only? She rudely replies “well, yeah they have been for 2 years” as she rolls her eyes at me. I stated that I am not from here and that is why I ask. I then pay the kinder lady at the counter for my gas. I then go to pump my gas and was shorted 83 cents gas as the pump stopped and would not go to my paid dollar amount. I had no patience to return to the store to complain. Trust me do not stop here on your trip down hwy 20. Go another 2 miles to the truck stop.

The Ultimate Fan
Went into Fort Dodge for gas, snacks and a restroom break. Used the bathroom, gathered our snacks, and got in line. We had one customer in front of us, when another customer rudely stepped in front of us with scratch off lotto tickets she just wanted to cash in. The attendant did nothing, said nothing, just allowed this to happen. I Put all my items down, purchased just enough gas to go to another station in Fort Dodge… Horrible service!

Our gas pump wouldn’t accept our card. The customer next to us said he had the same problem and moved to another pump. I told the 2 cashiers inside. They said “Yes we know. Pump 3 and 10 aren’t working.” When I asked if they had a piece of paper to let customers know about this, they ignored me. We also had to use a different pump. I did purchase coffee and donut. I was asked if they could help me with anything else. I once again said yes, it would be very kind if you would mark your nonfunctional pumps to save others the hassle. Her silent glare said it all.

I wasn’t sure if I was in a Casey’s men’s room or on the set of Law & Order SVU. I travel a lot and Casey’s is, by far, my favorite chain. But I had to hard pass on this one. After seeing what I saw, I can’t trust that the kitchen is cleaned any better. Gave two stars instead of one in good faith due to the fact that it’s pure speculation as to how explosion my bowel activity would have been after grabbing a slice.

It is the same as everywhere. However, gas station machines weren’t working properly, so you couldn’t pay with credit card ( I tried 3 pumps). Had to go inside. No customers nor customers were wearing masks. I am only give 2 stars instead of 1, because one of the employees pulled her mask on when I approached. I think she did it because I was the only person at the store with one.

Caseys Alden Iowa is the best!!! Convenience, Service, Quality. All great it is a convenience store so the price is a little higher but so much quicker and easier than going to a store 20 minutes away.

I consistently have issues with their gas pumps. Either they don’t work at all or take 15 minutes to pump gas. Inside of the store is a bit run down and the bathroom is below average on cleanliness.
