Ever since I moved to Sandwich from Somonauk in March this particular Casey’s has gone completely downhill. The early am breakfast items, especially the pizza looks like it’s all been re-heated from the previous day. Half the time there’s no regular creamer in the dispensers, or it has a French vanilla taste to it. Today I ordered a breakfast pizza, they said 20 minutes. I waited nearly 30 minutes, then when I got there they were just starting to prep my pizza!!! They weren’t busy, the girl just forgot!! They weren’t busy either! I had somewhere to be, so I walked out infuriated. I called Casey’s in Yorkville, they actually were busy!! Yet they managed to have my pizza ready by the time I got there 15 minutes later. Today was the final straw for me. I’ll drive to Somonauk and give that Casey’s my business from now on! Everyone from the Sandwich Casey’s, from the manager on down should be fired!!

So we get to the store at 7:45, walk up to the kitchen and ordered a taco pizza. Guy said it will be done by 8:00, so we walked around the store and got snacks and drinks. We go up to the counter at 8:08 and tell me why we were standing there til 8:30 for our pizza. We were going to call and complain, but the head of the kitchen came out after we walked out with our pizza and explained to us the situation and that his employees really are not doing their jobs anymore, which was nice and highly appreciated. I didn’t want to call and complain and get that guy in trouble, but I wouldn’t suggest ordering a pizza from there. It not only took too long, but was undercooked. Hard to eat. Slices would flop around. Horrible experience.
