As an old employee who just left my job back in May I can say that Casey’s has extremely poor standards for management. The general store manager is very in professional and comes in the mornings for her shift being rude to the employees because she is hung over. She also through a tantrum in the office while customers were in the store. She unprofessional with how she speaks to my father as well. She is lazy and loves to sit in the office for her shifts. The kitchen manager at the time stunk all of the time like y’all seriously needed to higher the hygiene standards for your employees, was very lazy and unprofessional as well. As well as the old lady who was considered 2nd Assistant Manager is lazy and unprofessional as well. Extremely rude. Never washes her hands because she claims she is allergic to the soap. She also does not wear gloves while making food. She is very rude to all of the customers. I definitely would not recommend working for Casey’s especially not for the manager at this location. Seen on multiple occasions the manager being super rude, disrespectful, and childish when it comes to how she treats her employees. On 2 occasions this week I’ve seen her target 2 of the hardest working employees there. Seeing the one girl in tears today was heartbreaking sense I’ve been seeing her almost everyday for over a year and she cares about that store and her customers more than I’ve ever seen an employee care in the 8 years I’ve been a regular customer. Do better. Hold your managers to higher standards. Just because your the boss doesn’t mean you can treat people anyway you want.

I try to go with places that are not where I live when on travel. Part of my first order from Uber was not delivered. They sent the missing part on the second order. It had been sitting and was not redone on the second order.

Regular morning staff is great! Friendly, helpful staff and well-stocked fresh food in the morning. Night shift is generally a mess with some good staff at times. I’ve seen night staff sitting at the register, staff vaping in the store, store smelling strongly of weed near the back, and the place is a mess and unstocked.

Went to the place this morning. They mysteriously locked the place down after I had been inside already. Apparently, they had a COVID exposure and wouldn’t answer my question about. Ignored me. Don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon to this location. I didn’t care if it was an employee or customer who was in there but they should have more than a sloppy, written note and disheveled dressed old man not answering questions when asked why they’re closing the store. I had to find out by called the main customer service number in Iowa. Poor customer relations, lots to work on here.
