Lissa was great from the start! She made sure our table was absolutely perfect for our anniversary lunch! The calamari was really delicious, along with the salad and the chicken pasta dish we ordered. I’d post the pictures of our food… but we ate it too fast! WE WILL RETURN, and thank you so much for being so accommodating!

Very very good Italian cuisine. The Braised Short Ribs over Mashed Potatoes with Asparagus was fantastic. My son said the the Penne with Vodka Sauce was really good. The meatballs appetizer was very good. The Southern Ice Tea cocktail was GREAT!! I rarely give out 5 Stars, so Castello being a SOLID 4.5 Stars is high praise in my book. There is not a single criticism about my experience here. I will definitely come back again.

My friend had heard about this place from a mutual friend of ours and invited me to go with her tonight. I loved it! Drink was delicious- not too strong, the food was delicious as well! Not too big of a portion but enough for people like me who love leftovers the next day. Our waitress was friendly, attentive enough to be efficient. I wish I lived closer because I’d love to go back for more Alfredo chicken and pasta!

Our waitress was absolutely amazing! She was so great to our kids! She heard that it was our first time there and she was giving us a heads up on the deals they have daily so when we come back we can try more. Cannolis are filled completely! Absolutely amazing! The waitress says she ALWAYS makes sure the cannolis are filled all the way through and that made me so happy! Not every restaurant does that! The lava cake was delicious. The shrimp scampi was so creamy! The pizza looked meh but tasted so good! Overall a great family restaurant!

We were just passing by and took a chance for lunch. The Food and service were incredible. The Server was super friendly, very efficent, and just an all around fun person. The food was freshly made, was served hot and had great flavors. Pizza was top notch loved the crust. Drinks were also very good. Pretty good Italian restaurant just outside of downtown Niantic. Menu has classic Italian favorites as well as a plethora of seafood options. Garlic knots are complimentary. Do yourself a favor and try some honey ricotta with bread. Chicken piccata and parmigiana are excellent entree options as well. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but the quarters can be a bit tight. Additional parking is available at the Niantic Center School across the street.

We had a great experience! I’m gluten free AND dairy free. There were a lot of dairy in the menu items, but Lissa was extremely helpful and shared about which items have dairy and which don’t. She said most items can be made gluten free and I could tell they were being careful! I got sweet chili wings, brussel sprouts, salad with salmon. Everything was cooked PERFECTLY, and was so very tasty. They were all sooo good! Seriously delicious. My husband got a GF pizza that he loved! The food also came very fast. The *only* thing I would’ve loved was for it to have been brighter inside with more natural sunlight, but they do have an outdoor area! Very happy.

First we were served the wrong wine. Ordered Chianti, got Malbec which was actually good so we drank it. Ordered salads that were never delivered, when we were 1/2 way thru our dinner we canceled the salad. Then we were served cold coffee!!! Good thing Our dinners were amazingly delicious or we would have walked out. We did complain to another server but The manager should have come to see us and should have offered a discount.
