Fabulous views of the Hudson River in the summer and Fall (outdoor patio too) and a crackling cozy fire in winter, great chef and fun menu/wine selection. But the best part is the kind and welcoming owners who are right there welcoming you and making sure everything goes smoothly. It’s a hidden gem!

We had a reservation, they ignored us for 5 minutes, took another 10 to seat us. The service was mediocre at best, culminating with my husband getting a dish that was described totally differently on the menu. When he pointed that out to the waitress she explained the menu had changed and she was quite put off he wasn’t happy. Meanwhile the rest of our party received our meals. The scallops we’re slimy and tasted bad, the risotto was really sweet, the swordfish was tasteless. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave. While explaining the problem to the manager the waitress falesly claimed to have told us about the menu changes and dropped the f bomb on us. In 26 years of marriage we have never walked out of a restaurant, but we did tonight.

The views are amazing!!! The food is not bad but I would recommend a more varied menu. Although staff is very pleasant they do not check in often enough to make sure you have what you need.

Who closes a resturant for 3 days and doesn’t update phone message or social media. My time is more valuable than that. Got there last night at 530. found a note on their door! I wasn’t alone. 3 other parties were pissed. Do you really think you are “that good?” How professional! BTW. Yes they are closed until Friday.
