The Catfish Hut has the best Catfish around! However, they need more employees. The waitresses do their best, but have way too many tables. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order and then another 15 to get our food ordered. When the food finally came, it was hot and straight out of the grease!! The Catfish is worth the wait!! Also, don’t skip the salad bar! It’s always good too!

What can you say, it’s in the middle of nowhere and not a lot of options but it was decent food. The young lady working there absolutely run her butt off and was a fantastic waitress. The food was your typical southern fried, maybe over fried basket type food but we had a good experience. One and done for us

This was an amazing gem of a find! It was awesome. Our server, Jessica, was friendly and courteous without being overbearing. The ultra clean restaurant is nestled back from the highway, near the lake. Which is great for the freshest, tastiest catfish I’ve had in a long while. The salad bar was nicely stocked with fresh vegetables. My only regret is that I was do full (had to get a doggie bag) that I didn’t have room for the super-sized hand-dipped ice cream cones. This is definitely on our Must Return To list.

Enjoyed my meal. Ordered catfish and hushpuppies. Had fried okra and salad. It was a lot of food. Hushpuppies were not fully cooked and were doughy iside, so I left those. The staff was real friendly and our waitress was attentive.

I ordered country fried steak and baked potato. They gave me a cfs that was microwaved and soggy fries. Oh and no gravy! Called to ask why and was told I should have ordered gravy separately and she guesses they were out of potatoes. Wow! Won’t make that mistake again!
