No complaints here… this is an old style steak house that does a really good job. Anna our waitress was very attentive and was super pleasant. I had the small ribeye (12 oz) with the twice baked potato. The steak was prepared correctly and had great flavor. The twice baked potato was good. They did everything right so this is a place you really can’t go wrong with.

Old school must try Steak House. Love love love. Literally on the State line. Great staff, spoke with everyone like I was a regular. You know they say shop local, we’ll eat local too.

Got the rib eye king, it came with small bowl of clam chowder, jalapino cornbread, choice of tators, and dinner rolls. I will get two meals from it!! Steak was very good as well as the cornbread, dinner rolls average, and hash browns were slightly burnt. My waitress did an exceptional job. They were busy, but she always made sure my water and drink were filled. In my opinion, a good waitress makes a meal.

Really needs Gordon Ramsey to visit. Decor is outdated but the food is awesome! The pork chops are to die for. A little overpriced in exchange you get a great place for families.

The best ribeye steak I’ve had in a long time, particularly at a restaurant. I got the king cut because I wanted a thicker cut for better cooking. I didn’t have a scrap of meat left when I got done. Tender as tender can be without any tenderizers or seasoning. A dash of salt to bring out the flavor was all it needed. The peripheral food was very good as well. The oysters on the half shell were very fresh and tasty. The Dragon Fries were very good as well. I would have easily given a five star rating for the quality of the food and atmosphere. I only gave it four stars because it seemed that the waitress had some issue with me. Nothing I could put my finger on but I got the feeling she was snubbing me a bit. I asked my wife about it after we left and she saw it too. I believe I was courteous and did nothing I could think of to put her off but it did add a slight shadow on the evening. Otherwise I would highly recommend dinner here. Just be prepared though, it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Best of everything I ate! Best steak, best salad dressing ever, best baked potato!! Yummy, a wait of 30 minutes, but I didn’t have a reservation, will next time though. Very busy but worth the wait… My husband had prime rib, he said it was very good too. Tea was good too… Great service.

I was really excited about going here since there were a number of people that mentioned the place. And it’s local owned. (Which I prefer) The filet was great and house wine was good. But….. I didn’t know it was still a thing to smoke in restaurants. Sat at the bar area and a gentleman was in there smoking and coughing the whole time. It was hot, felt like it was 75 inside. The employees complained about each other the whole time. Not a great first experience. But I never give a place one shot. Willing to try again. Hope that was the B team tonight!!

We were driving through the area and decided to give it a try. We were seated quickly and our server was very nice. The batter platter appetizer was great, especially the fried mushrooms. However, the rest of the meal was only ok. The steaks were over cooked and on the bland side. The baked potatoes had been in the warming bin way too long, so they tasted old and were cold. Broccoli was undercooked as well, and the house salad was very basic. Overall, not worth the price and not a place we would return to.
