I ate at one of these places at the airport in Washington DC a few weeks back and was telling my daughter about it. So now that we’re back on the east coast again, we saw this one and she wanted to try it. Honestly had never heard of this place until I was in the airport in DC and then all of a sudden. I see them on the news every week because they just became a publicly traded company. I know they’ve heard this many times, but it’s like a Mediterranean Chipotle without burritos and stuff. The food that we had was really good and I can’t remember the name of it but you can see the pictures. Couple things I noticed while I was in there and it must be the humidity but the air conditioning vents above where dripping water down on the floor and on the tables. The staff also needs to pay more attention to cleanliness of the bathroom and of the floors. I remember seeing a guy come from the outside taking the trash in and there was napkins on the floor and he just rolled right over then with his cart instead of stopping to pick them up. 5 minutes later and when I left the napkins were still on the floor in the bathroom could use a little bit of cleanness or often also.

I have ordered delivery from this location a couple of times. Both times the portion size was much smaller than when I order in person. There was barely any rice in my order today. This is a problem. I expect consistency in portion sizes whether I order for delivery or not.

Fresh lavender, blueberry juice made daily. Arugula is an option for greens. I don’t recommend trying to order online. It’s it has you order everything and then tells you you have to go in and create an account on not using the app using a different site. It’s definitely obnoxious so… be advised. Has good lamb as a protein option. I think they have lamb, meatballs, and shredded lamb. Can power up everything and get a drink lunch would be about $18 or less and it’s a big healthy meal you feel better after eating as opposed to just heavy and tired that servers are all helpful but they’re most helpful if you’re there in line I don’t recommend ordering online. You get the order wrong a lot of times. it can get busy when students are in town around lunch and dinner but usually the lines travel pretty fast

Cava has lost my lunchtime pickup business. I ordered a greens and grains bowl and the bowl was maybe 1/2 full. This is the second time this has happened to me – I allowed once for error, but twice in my recent visits smacks of deliberate under portioning to those who are grabbing and going elsewhere to eat. Compare my picture to those who dined in with their reviews!!! I received half of what I paid for. Cava, you owe me an apology. Food is great, but I will only eat in person from now on. If you order pickup, check your food and ensure you are being treated properly.

Have order from this location numerous times and have usually been take out/pick up orders every time something is missing or not enough. My most recent visit today was by far the worst. I did a pick up order to find that not only was one of my toppings missing that cost an extra charge but my bowl was drowning in vinaigrette. When I called to make a complaint to let them know that I was returning the bowl. I was advised that they were not going to be able to make me a new one. I was very upset expressed my concerns and I went to the location. The food cost way too much for not to be correct. In the quantity of food you get is not worth the price. Return my bowl and got a new one for free. Anytime I come to this location and ask about a missing item or have a complaint it’s as if my concerns aren’t valid. The employees there have a way of making you feel like you are bothering them when you ask them anything. It may be a while before I go back.
