Wonderful experience! The restaurant is in an old structure and, upon entering, the smell reminded us of touring old houses. I mention this first to say not to let that taint the experience. The Italian restaurant and bar are on the main level. The French restaurant, where we dined, is in the basement. We began with scallops in a creamy sauce with prosciutto. I had the beef tenderloin seved with a dollop of potatoes, mini carrots, and a demi glace. He had the sea bass with a cabbage roll stuffed with a medley of seafood. Both were delicious. For dessert we tried the creme brulee and the molten chocolate cake, which were decadent. We will definitely return!

Cavey’s was a wonderful dining experience. They have a menu to suit all tastes. The food is well prepared, well presented and tasty. The restaurant has an old style feel to it and the customer service from the hosts, bartenders, and waitresses is top notch. My wife and I will be returning to Cavey’s.

Cavey’s, I can honestly say, is the only restaurant I’ve eaten where I absolutely love the food. From the beef, to the chicken and fish, everything is delicious. The service is also excellent as is the live music of guitarist Jason Jenkins is second to none. Highly recommend if for a small group of 2 or large party gathering. One does NOT go wrong.

Originally popped in to enjoy a drink with my wife, but after perusing their special anniversary dinner menu, we decided to stay and treat ourselves to a late dinner in the bar. Food at Cavey’s never disappoints, and our most recent experience was no different. The roast pork was tender and delicious and my Chicken François was perfection itself.

Went there for dinner with my husband. We had a reservation for 8.15 and waited 10 minutes for the table. The service was extremely slow, the slowest I have ever seen. We received drinks in about 20 minutes after being seated and bread after another 15-20 minutes. More than 60 minutes since being seated, our server told us that one of the two appetisers we ordered wasn’t available and that the other one will be there shortly after. The pasta I ordered was provided without a ‘sauce’ with no apologies and I had to send it back and share my husband’s pasta. We ended up leaving hungry and frustrated with the pathetic service and average food. Also definitely not vegetarian friendly unlike what is stated online. Never going back!

Just went here for the first time. I was very skeptical of an upscale restaurant in Manchester. It was some of the best food I’ve ever had. Great candlelit atmosphere and excellent customer service. It’s pricey, but you truly get what you pay for. My new favorite restaurant.
