Okay, Battle Creek found my new favorite pizza and grinder place…Cavoni’s Pizza and Grinders Please give them a try. We ordered 2 large pizzas and 1 grinder knowing we wanted leftovers for tomorrow. The owner, Kathy came out to the dinning room and asked how our meal was…I invited her to sit down and visit with us. We raved about how delicious and affordable everything was. We chatted like old friends, she shared that her husband was in back just finishing up making the grinder bread and pizza dough for tomorrow. I knew that it wasn’t any processed pre-made bread or pizza crust. This restaurant is worth every penny, Battle Creek support the mom and pop joints…Cavoni’s needs to be on the TOP of the list! Thanks to Kathy and the staff for making our 1st experience a GREAT ONE!

GRIND ON IT!!!! One of the best grinders around. Wow on quality and flavor. The club sub is one of my favorite. We shared the whole Cavonis Club Grinder. Yes we shared only one. Walked out full with a smile on my face. How they prepare and deliver the food yummy level 5. Not your average place. Keep up the great work.

My grinder was SOOOOOOO delicious! I hadn’t been here in a while, and I got the daily special which came with a half grinder, side salad, and a drink. The salad was amazing, and the grinder tasted so fresh and warm, and it had the perfect amount of crunch. It definitely hit the spot!!

I was heading through Battle Creek for work today. We decided to stop here for lunch. The staff was very friendly and very fast. We ate in and was served within 10 minutes of ordering. I got the Reuben grinder. It was tasty and wonderfully toasty. I was impressed. I’ll be back.

Listen. You need to eat the garlic cheese bread hot. It’s still good warm but it’s fantastic hot. The cran chicken salad is good too. We love it. The youngins need to go to the 90s and learn how to talk and act at work but we can’t fix the teachers or they will go on strike…

This used to be the go-too pizza joint. NOT ANYMORE my friends!!! Orders always wrong. Manager lady is always right no matter what you say. And no discounts offered when your order is wrong and u have to wait longer. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND! My food was indeed incorrect and my sandwich was put on a shelf and very soggy and re-servered to me with the correct skins. Was suspicious that sandwich was correct looked like someone picked off the green peppers that were not supposed to be on it. But was told it was ok. Additional wait was 15 mins. I was extremely patient and kind until I was yelled at by Mgr. Because they didn’t read correctly written ticket after already waiting 45 mins. Her excuses were 1. We are busy. 2. The cheese covered the incorrect food item. 3. We have new people…. I suspect all the time with your attitude MAme. She also yelled at her young employees infront of everyone. I felt extremely sorry for them. Sometimes TEACHING IS A BETTER FORM OF COMMUNICATION THAN YELLING. Please do better as a business owner and a employer!

We loved this place, thought it was the best pizza in town, and ate here every week. Family friendly and enjoyed the “golden oldies” music. To our disappointment, the last 2 weeks the crust was underdone, the top of the pizza was standing in grease, which had never happened before, and the music was heavy rock. We didn’t enjoy treating our grandchildren to Janice Joplin yelling. The whole experience was changed. The first week that the pizza was underdone we tried to be patient because any place can have a fluke in quality but when it happened the next week also we decided to find somewhere else. The grandchildren like the Pepsi products they used to have and were disappointed in the change to Coke.

Picked up pizza 45 minutes after calling in and pizza is cold. A normal pizza place would have put it in a heater. Horrible customer service. Be wary of the 4.4 stars they have, businesses can pick and choose which reviews they like to keep. I would not recommend them to anybody and definitely never going back.
