The food is ok but the portion size doesn’t match up with the price. This is how many pieces of short ribs you get with one order, only one and a half pieces. Not enough for the price. Sushi is good tho.

Little hole in the wall type of place that you would not expect to serve sushi at all, but they do in fact, and it is consistently tasty! I’m actually basing this review off of the sushi only, as I have yet to try the actual Hawaiian BBQ haha. I need to explore the menu more. They recently hired a new girl who answers calls and handles the register, and she is very kind and helpful. Good food plus better service! Can’t go wrong there.

Stop by yesterday evening 4/20/23 visiting from out of town, looked for a place to eat online read the reviews decided to stop by here. Would not recommend, their customer service is not a priority here. Walked in the restaurant was fairly empty. I was placed my order and waited easily over 20 minutes close to 30.. Mind you other customers walked in and placed their orders after me. Somehow they all got their food before me. Finally got the courage to ask the girl at the register about the delay. She saw me walking up and happened to have my order. She called my # with a smirk (there was no one else in the restaurant again.) The food was cold / warm. Chicken and katsu were really hard to chew. Little to know steamed veggies. Really disappointing.

I came in during restaurant slow times & the interior reflected that. Staff was friendly & helpful. The wait for take out was minimal. Most importantly everything was so so delicious! Will be returning!
