Simply amazing, don’t really know where to park but we always park in this empty lot on the side of this restaurant. No one has said anything yet. Just a little spot down town Baton Rouge and is a must! We just moved here and probably have tried fifty different gumbos and this one is by far the best! Bar drinks were solid, the Caribbean jerk chicken with red beans and rice were second to none! The service is always top par! I could go on for days! It’s a must if you live here or just traveling through.

Cecelia Creole Bistro was without a doubt my favorite dining experience while in Louisiana. The ambiance in this restaurant is fabulous and perfect for a dinner night out. The appetizers of the skillet cornbread with cinnamon whipped butter and sweet-chili glazed brussel sprouts were wonderful. I wish I could continue eating the crawfish étouffée- it was the best one I had while in Louisiana. The bread pudding was a delicious dessert to top off the lovely meal. All the portions were a generous size and we had leftovers to take home 🙂 Our server, Sarah, was awesome. She was super kind and helpful in guiding us through the menu with some dietary restrictions and definitely enhanced our experience. There is a sign on the door that requests you to make a reservation in advance so do that, but if you’re in Baton Rouge this is a must! Hope to come back again to get some good food and try the other things on the menu!

We really enjoyed the service. The shrimp and grits were so delicious. The skillet cornbread was good and the sausage and hen gumbo was fantastic. We will be back for sure.

I googled best cajun food in Baton Rouge. I bet you can imagine how many options I had. Luckily, this place was close to my hotel so I gave it a chance. I had a French martini and a summer crush drink, and a redfish dish that happened to be the special of the day. I don’t know if it’s the best cajun in the whole city. But it was REALLY GOOD!! Nice quite relaxing atmosphere with great food and service. I would definitely recommend it to all.

The food was good and it was a nice vibe. Be mindful, once you order something, you won’t be able to change your order if they have begin to prepare it, even if your order hasn’t left the kitchen yet.

It was a beautiful establishment however I did not enjoy any of the dishes. The exercise was bland and spicy, shrimp and grits had a unique taste to the sauce that I did not find delightful. The boudin balls were great and the fried alligator bites were pretty good however the sweet and spicy sauce on the alligator was not. The Pimm’s cup drink was good, and the bread was stale. Also they do not sing Happy Birthday. (This has no bearing on my rating however someone out there might want to know that)
