It’s nice to have a new restaurant in town. It’s about 1.5 miles away from the campground which was very convenient. All the food was great. Grilled cheese and fries; slaw burger and fries, and the Philly cheese steak sandwich which was extremely tender along with hush puppies. Of course had to get banana pudding for desert which to die for. It taste more like creme Brule with bananas. It was delicious. Service was absolutely amazing. Very attentive server.

When I walk through the door I was welcome with a smile. The waitress was very polite. We didn’t have to wait long for our food . It was delicious , the fish was cook just right . I was so full I didn’t have room for any dessert. I was telling everyone how good the food is . Plus it is avery clean place. I recommend everyone go give it a try. I guarantee you will be very pleased .

Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was also excellent. I got the fried pork chop which was delicious, and my husband got the fried chicken and it was great too. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

My Family and I arrived at the restaurant around 5:45pm, last Friday and little did we know, that the restaurant was closing at 6pm, because they had set up for the Buttermilk Festival, but they went ahead and told us to come on in, and have a seat… Our Server Kinsley, as Always GREAT, and Thanks Again for serving us, without any problems… WE WILL BE BACK!!!

There were four of us. We got there at 6:30 and they close at 8:00. This could be why some of our food was overcooked. My fried pork chop had good flavor, but was dry and tough, and somewhat small. I ordered mashed potatoes, but was told they were out. So, I ordered green beans and street corn. Our server came back to tell me that the green beans “weren’t looking good” and asked if I wanted another side. I ordered the macaroni and cheese. The Mac and cheese and street corn were great! The rest of my family ordered the fish, chicken, slaw, onion rings, hush puppies, and eggin around burger. Every one agreed it as all just okay, but we expected more from reading the great reviews. I hate leaving negative reviews, and don’t mean this to be one. We would definitely give this restaurant another try, but wanted to let the owners about our experience.
