Great food… not that many decent bbq joints around here but this one definitely stands out. Fries were a perfect crispy texture but I personally prefer a little less salt seasoning. Everyone was very friendly and attentive but the food does take a little long… it took me about 20 minutes to get my brisket sandwich and there were only 2 people ahead of me.

Very excellent bbq Good food , had a brisket sandwich and found the owner himself behind the counter. Was passing through the area for work and had to go find the great smell lighting up half the neighborhood. Grabbed some bread pudding otw out , darn good stuff as well. Clean dining room & quick ordering, friendly staff. Definitely recommended & glad to support a mom n pop business, 5 stars well earned. If you want to whine about ordering on a tablet because the crew is busy working their tail off short handed in the kitchen … then go back to the dumpster behind McDs where you came from and get yourself a different ‘therapist’. Prices are reasonable for healthy portions, good people , good food. Period. Be skeptical of bad ‘reviews’ likely planted by the competition in the area

We went for beef ribs and were not disappointed. 2 of us shared the 4 rib dinner and had 1 rib to take home. Flavor and texture were awesome. Perfectly smokey and the rub was subtle… Enhancing the flavor of the meat and not overpowering it. I like my sauce on the side so I can control how much to use…. Tried the mild and the hot sauce.. Preferred the hot as it was less sweet and more tangy and spicy. Looking forward to trying some of their other meats!

Meh, very meh. I was in the mood for BBQ and googled it and found this place. The reviews seemed pretty good so I gave it a shot. I made an online order and MEANT to order a chicken sandwich. But accidentally ordered a hot link “sandwich” . I didn’t realize it until I got home and looked closer at the recipt taped to the bag… well darn. It is was what I ordered, and paid for, and I was already home, so alright, I’ll try it. I opened the container (Styrofoam btw) and there is a naked, footlong sausage in a plain bun, and a little tub of sauce… (plus the small tub of Reasers potato salad). All for the low price of $14. (Plus tax and tip) . I don’t know what I expected (especially since I didn’t intend to order this) but this was certainly not it. The bun was just generic, and the “hot link” ( was actually cold) was nothing special either, like something you get at the grocery store. Maybe their other stuff is good, but I probably won’t be back to find out. I’ll drive into Kent to Pete’s instead.

Amazing BBQ that was recommended by a friend of mine. Had Brisket and Chopped Pork (similar to pulled pork at other places). The meat was cut-with-your-fork tender. The sauce (mild for me) was a great flavor. Sweet enough, but not overpowering. A bit smoky.

Love coming to this place! Food is delicious, the staff goes above and beyond and the place is kept super clean at all times. I usually get the chopped pork sandwich with hot sauce, baked potato or corn bread. The portions are generous and there are multiple options to choose as a side. They have great home made desserts that are the cherry of the top of the cake 🙂 I’m always looking forward to come back to my next meal here.

Amazing food! I got the three meat platter with ribs, brisket, and chicken. All of the meat was tender and well seasoned! I also got the mac and cheese, cornbread, and fries which were all very delicious. Will definitely be back !
