I was in a bad car accident recently and can’t bite down with my front teeth. I’ve been craving this pizza since i got home from the ICU. They chopped my pizza into toddler-friendly bite that I could easily tolerate with my injuries. They are so friendly every time I go in, and their crust is SO delicious! Thank you guys for being awesome!

I do appreciate the consistency of good pizza and service. I’ve been going to Celestino’s for many years. Every time I go the pizza is as good as the first time I went. The employee are always very nice and polite. I apologize I didn’t take a picture of the pizza. I normally go there for the slice of pizza. The next time I go I’m going to try the calzone. I will let everyone know how it taste.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Celestino’s NY Pizza & Pasta in Rocklin, CA, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the convenient location with ample parking spaces to the mouthwatering eggplant parmesan and the friendly staff, Celestino’s truly delivers an authentic taste of New York.

Update: Changed rating from four stars to three. I ordered the same thing as my previous review – great crunch, evenly spread out toppings. Sadly the other reviewer was correct – they changed their crust recipe and possibly the marinara sauce. It’s like having pizza with a head cold. The addictive element is gone. Not sure why you’d mess with a recipe 25+ years old?

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in the Sacramento area! Huge sizes for great pricing. The atmosphere is very clean and welcoming and the service and suggestions were top notch!

Never thought I would say pepperoni could ruin a pizza… But tonight is that night. Ordered Celestinos up in Chico all the time and loved it. Oscars Spicy Luau is the best combination of spicy, sweet, and savory. Thought I would try it from the location down here and was devastated. Each pepperoni was stacked 4-5 pieces thick, covering the whole pizza with zero gaps. All pepperoni under the top slice was hardly cooked, leading to an uncooked crust due to the excess of toppings and grease. This pizza was swimming in a pool of grease in the box folks. Managed to salvage a couple slices by removing about a pound of pepperoni and throwing it under the broiler. Pretty sure all the pepperoni I took off one slice could have worked for a full pizza pie. Currently sitting on my couch looking at these other pepperoni pizza pictures from reviews and wondering if our cook is a fan of cardiac arrest or was trying to help all the pepperoni in the restaurant escape an overweight guest walking in the door. Disappointed from a favorite local(ish) pizza chain.

First time here and my impressions. Friendly staff. Take out orders take ~15 mins after placing order. There’s a gentlemen who calls your name out once your order is ready for pickup. He’s quite loud and it really helps in a crowded place. I ordered the combo specialty pizza. Med. sized and it cost ~$27. The pizza looks good. The pie crust is good but the middle section is undercooked… and not crispy. You can definitely fold the pizza New York style. The ingredients from what I can tell is fresh. Didn’t quite tasted the pizza sauce. Either not much sauce or the flavor is too mild for me. So my experience is average. I will try the other offerings next time. I believe you can order pizza per slice here so you can try a lot in one visit. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. I see the staff clean the tables often. I did noticed they have a lot of pizza boxes. Some are in the main dining room as well.

I got three pizza to try out: white sauce pizza, Hawaiian pizza, and mushroom pizza. The white sauce pizza and Hawaiian pizza had a good crunch due to its thin crust, each bite the texture carrys. The mushroom pizza was a bit soggy, wasn’t crunchy as the others but it was less oily than the other two with a strong mushroom and Italian seasoning flavor. The white sauce had a strong garlic taste with Italian seasoning, and the cheese on top of it helped mellow it down. Even with the downside in some pizza with the inconsistent texture, the flavor still carries. Definitely a go to place for a NY Style Pizza

I used to eat at Celestino’s periodically for a few years when I was more local to Rocklin. Pizza is on a delicious solid thin crust and range from light to heavy. Salads are great as well. Lunch special is a great deal for slice and salad under $10 for anyone lucky enough to work local.
