If your place is known for Cemitas, then you assume they should be great. I live near the neighborhood and wanted to give them a try. First and last time ordering. The order was placed to go. I was disappointed if you review my picture the meat looks like a piece of chip. The meat was not fresh I didn’t even attempt to bite it. The bread was old. The best thing was the cheese and the avocado, that’s what I ended up eating.

The cemitas are ok, 1-5, I give them a 2.5 stars what is realy bad is the price each cemita is $11 plus tax and you pay 82 cents card fee.

Excellent food, underrated restaurant, authentic mexican food, and by far the best semita I have ever had in Los Angeles, two thumbs up

Worst tasting baked cookies I have ever bought. Also way over priced. Not recommend to buy their cookies

This place is very underrated. We tried their black bean quesadilla, taco asada and salsa sauces and concluded they might have been the best mexican food we’ve had amongst places we tried in San Diego and LA. Portions are value for money!

The staff was rude and they sold us a pork cemita that was already rotten. (30 min wait for just 2 cemitas and it wasn’t even busy only two other couples were there) As soon as you opened the bag, we got the rotten smell. Not only that but the lady tried to stiff us. She was charging us $80 because she said the food plus the extra stuff we got added to that amount. So we asked her to add everything again and it turned to be $45 and even like that she charged us $4 extra. Someone recommended me this place but it’s not the best. If you come here at least make sure they charge you the correct amount.

I got the Cemita de pierna after getting my first COVID-19 Vaccine. The pierna was super tender, the bread had a great crunch, avicado was super fresh, the chile chipotle put this over the top. Sweet, smokey, nice heat, simply delicious. They have a little tent for outdoor seating with a hand washing station, which is above and beyond since you will eat with your hands. See you in 3 weeks after my second dose!

We tried cemita de milanesa de res y cemita de carnitas. Quality of the food is great. Especially the flavor of the carnitas. Delicious! Service was great too.
