Chicharron De Queso
Crispy Gouda cheese tortilla. Prepared in a flattop grill until reaching a firm consistency. This cheese is then folded for presentation purposes. Add Salsa and lime and share.		 $11.00
Sopa De Frijol
Creamy bean soup made topped with Mexican crema (sour cream), chile de arbol and butter.		 $8.00
Esquite
Made from white corn kernels boiled and softened in water with salt and epazote. Served with cotija cheese, mayonnaise, chilli powder and lime on the side		 $6.50
Taco De Pastor
Marinated pork in dried chilies and spices; slowly cooked on a vertical rotisserie (trompo). The meat is shaved off as the outside is browned, and made into tacos. Served with finely chopped onions, cilantro and diced pineapple.		 $4.89

What a gem! There’s been a bunch of new Mexican restaurants in Morristown over the last 3 years or so, and Central is the most recent and perhaps most welcome addition. I had heard good things so stopped in for a couple quick tacos and was not disappointed. I had 1 each of the 2 pork tacos and they were great! Very authentic. I’ll be back again and would definitely recommend to give it a try.

Great flavors + variety on the menu. The hot sauces were great. Guac was super fresh. So many veg options. The manager and entire staff were super welcoming and informative. Also loved seeing al pastor cooking on a spit. The meat was incredibly flavorful.

I love Central because Raul is amazing at customer service! I think from all the business I know of in Morristown, Raul is the only owner who’s always there. That makes a huge difference in a business. The food is unbelievable. Authentic flavors of Mexico . Yummy!!! His son is also a delight. It’s nice to have something so authentic in Morristown.

This is completely the real deal! Absolutely amazing food and different than anything else around. Tastes like some of the best tacos I found on trips to central Mexico. You don’t want to miss the Pastor tacos. The staff were amazing, friendly and accommodating. Run, don’t walk to this amazing new restaurant!

Not enough adjectives to describe this wonderful taqueria. Of the three taco spots on south street within 50 feet of each other this is my favorite. Simple and valuable. Walked in here closed to closing and explained the dilemma I felt of eating in but the staff assured me it was fine. Had an excellent conversation with them too and discussed their mission which was to provide an authentic taqueria feel from Mexico City. The food arrived within minutes of ordering and it was exceptional. The staff even walked us through which of the 6 sauces to pair with our tacos. We got the chicken, al pastor and ribeye tacos with a la gringa quesadilla. Horchata and limon de chia were excellent. They could turn the horchata into ice cream and I’d buy it by the tub. Lots of options for everyone. Can’t wait to come back and try other items.

Sorry no pictures, but we were too hungry! the food was absolutely AMAZING! If you want traditional tacos this place will not disappoint! We had tacos Al pastor and Rib eye, chicharrón de queso OMG and guac and chips of course. The agua the Jamaicana was delicious and they have 6 types of salsas from mild to extra hot, (Cremosa was my favorite)

Fantastic food, super friendly staff, fast service. The place is casual and clean, only seating is bar-style on stools so if you want a romantic dinner this is not the place lol. But it’s way better tasting than the tacoria down the street. I also really like the open kitchen design: it’s easier to trust the quality of the food when you can see most of it being made. Also, the black bean soup was EXACTLY how I like it, you know, like a SOUP and not bean chili. It may seem expensive but it’s on par for Morristown prices. Great place!

Delicious pastor taco. I also had the pastor torta which was good, but I enjoyed the taco far more. The server was enthusiastic and informative. They have a nice variety of sauces on the counter as well. Horchata was tasty.

Great new spot in central Morristown. The place was packed on a early Saturday afternoon. Seat yourself or place a takeout order at the counter. The staff was excited and eager to take our order. We had the pastor tacos and quesadilla, and esquite, everything was fresh and full of flavor. Looking forward to making this a regular stop!
