I ordered a large ceviche to go, with additional onion and mango. It was really good and decided to order based on my having tried the ceviche before at a friends house. It didn’t disappoint. Though I have to say that I had called beforehand and the phone rang and went to voicemail, so I had to go inside to place the order.

I’ve gone to this location countless of times , but this visit ruined it for me. 1) horrible customer service/courtesy/integrity 2) ceviche tostadas were mainly just fish with no lemon or veggies, no salsa included. Micheladas had no ice (I asked the women at the window about that and she said it had ice, no ma’am I had to put it in the freezer when I got home). Again, all it took was one bad experience/disappointment to scratch you off my go to places.

My husband loves this place, so I didn’t mind picking up an order for him. I waited 5 minutes at the drive through line before anyone came to the window. It only got worse from there. After 15 minutes of being in drive through window, I paid for my order thinking this was an expensive meal. $19 for ceviche (for one). After speaking with my husband, turns out I was overcharged. The meal was supposed to be $11. No big deal. People make mistakes. So I call the restaurant and explained the mistake and was quickly directed to the women who to my order. Right away it turned into an argument and she proceeded to blame me since I signed the receipt! To make it right, she suggested I return to the restaurant and purchase something else that was equivalent to the $8 overcharge! What bothers me about this whole incident was it didn’t have to turn into that! Just right the wrong! Just agree there was a mistake and move on! Finally, in the end, she agreed I could stop by and have my money returned. When I later went back to the restaurant (after waiting 20 in the drive through line), she gave me my $8 crumpled and didn’t offer an apology. If you decide to go to this place, pack your patience; you might need it!

Ceviche taste good. Not delicious. The lime juice was dissappointing. Cashier very friendly. Need better quality on the fish…I had a small campechana and there were onky 3 shrimps …is that a portion?

I’m very disappointed with Alton gloor’s cevi chelas… The chips are stale clear cup when you order to go not a good idea. Should have stick to foam cups reason being temperature that’s a little bit longer cold. The oysters are bad being place on the top of the cup next to the avocado and the temperature tastes funny so what I do I throw them away .

Another disappointing valley reasturant, don’t wast your money$, unless you like boiled shrimp in tomato sauce! Is what they pass off as a shrimp cocktail sad, also a seafood place serving farm raise talapia from Walmart and calling it ceviche, fresh water fish by the way, this type of reasturant is found all over the valley, wannabe seafood places, don’t wast your time,go down to port isabel or the island and get some real seafood.
