It all began back in 1979 when Chuck and Mabel Wyatt opened their western inspired diner, Wyatt’s Pancake Corral. It quickly became a well-liked hometown hangout and was remodeled in 1984, renamed The Country Gentleman.
Wyatt’s daughter Shirley and husband Steve Simmons became partners in 1996, and added catering to the expanding operation. In 2006, the restaurant and catering business expanded to its current location -9221 West Clearwater, Kennewick.
Now Country Gentleman has now evolved through ongoing community growth and support, transformed to CG Public House and Catering. Under the leadership of son, Kyle, the Trendy CG Public House offers tasty new fare for foodies, crafty cocktails and bountiful beers.

Catered for a fire, served the same “food” for 3 days. The cantaloupe was good. The bacon was okay. The left over chicken was where I drew the line… They had a tray of mashed potatoes left uncovered with no heat. Servers were hard to communicate with. It would have been better to just have milk and cereal. I would not recommend.

Food was great and very fast. Our waitress was sweet, bubbly and efficient. The 4 star review is because the oddest thing happened. We stopped here for lunch before an appointment we had later nearby. Our smartphone display showed an hour later than the correct time. We asked our server about it and she said that that did happen with some customer’s devices. It went back to normal when we left. Cue up spooky music here….

Spent a fortune for my group to come and check out your Easter brunch. It was literally the worst food and experience I’ve ever had. When we arrived we had to wait forever for the staff to get the food out. Food was cold and undercooked. It was all completely tasteless. Easter Rabbit walking around with his head down and looking depressed. The entire experience was just bad altogether. Happy Easter and thanks for nothing.

Went for Mother’s day breakfast. Food was good. Service was only for drinks, which we didn’t get offered any refills. Bloody mary was ok, not great for $10. Was overpriced in my opinion. They added a huge tip to bill even though there was only 3 of us.
