Hard to believe you would find an excellent Thai restaurant in the middle of New England Seafood heaven. But, we have returned to this restaurant on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The duck is outstanding and so are the curries. We live in Thailand and know the difference between average Thai food and outstanding Thai food and the folks here are lucky to have such an authentic restaurant to patronize.

Walking into the restaurant was actually amazing. Not only is it cute inside, but it smells delicious! We ordered drunken noodles with chicken and asked for spicy level 4 (oh my god, it was actually spicy!) It was such a great meal and everything was cooked perfectly. 5/5 stars, please try this place! I haven’t been disappointed at all. I will definitely be returning, especially since it’s literally a 5 min drive from me, and the prices are completely reasonable and justifiable! No photos because we devoured it all in one go

Overall this place was enjoyable. We ordered a couple of their specialty cocktails that were tasty and poured fairly strong. The sushi was fresh tasting and had a decent selection of rolls to choose from. The service was very good as the staff was very friendly and offered many suggestions. The main negative is that the ambiance of the place is a bit odd. It’s dated and not the nicest inside the restaurant. The music selection did not match and the place was littered with knick knacks that made the walls feel cluttered. That is a minor negative as the food was good and the staff was very friendly. This has become our staple go to Thai restaurant in the last year. Their take out and dine in are both equally convenient. We’ve gotten sushi here- which was really good. Their duck fried rice is an absolute favorite. This time we tried their daily special Volcano Roll which was also very good! Their thai iced tea is always very refreshing and delicious. We’ll keep coming back for more!

Don’t often leave reviews but LET ME TELL YOU how much I appreciate and love this place! Firstly, it’s some of the greatest thai food I’ve ever had, every dish is fresh and delicious – mild or spicy as you like it. Have ordered countless times with various people and everyone agrees it exceeds satisfactory into heavenly. Take-out is always ready fast and portions are generous in relation to price! Also, the late weeknight hours make it a healthy option after a long work day if you’re feeling too lazy to cook. Secondly but significantly, the staff is absolutely wonderful whether picking up or dining in. So, if you live in Scarborough or are just passing through on Route 1 you’ve got to try Chaba Thai!
