Wonderful. The crepes and icecream are delicious and the owner is super friendly. Our banana split was huge !!! Must try the ube flavor ice cream (taro). Prices are very reasonable.

Chaba’s Joy Cafe is a must stop on the way up to Pololu Valley (and other tourist attractions). She offers a small selection of authentic thai food and crepes that is delicious and at great prices. My husband and I had fresh spring rolls and pad thai. Flavors were amazing and served very hot. Definitely my favorite pad thai! Chaba also makes her own sauces that added some extra spicy kick to our dishes. We also had some of the hawaiian made ice cream for dessert. The ube ice cream was our favorite! Can’t wait to come again!

Very nice owner. Good portion size at reasonable price. Pad thai somewhat bland compared to what one might expect from an ethnic Thai immigrant cooking, especially when I asked her to make it Thai style. Thai style pad thai should have more tamarind tang and fish sauce. I would be more annoyed if I had paid more for the dish.
