Great food. Their Thai spicy is more of an American spicy, so you shouldn’t be afraid of it. Everything was fresh and delicious.

In my opinion Chada has the best tasting Thai food in the Austin area. Authentic flavors and a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from.

If you like Thai cuisine, this is the spot! You got to try the Mango sticky rice dessert, you will thank me later.

I have ordered Papya Salad (Som Tam) and asked for maximum spicy. The taste and the spicyness was excellent, as I‘m used from Thailand itself (my wife is Thai and I‘m used to Original Thai Food as well as I‘m in Thailand regularly…. )

Three of us dined in recently. While we agree that most of the food was tasty and generously portioned, I don’t recommend dining in due to order timing issues. We received one entree first, followed by the starters. A few minutes later a second entree came out. After a very long wait (first two diners basically finished) I asked when the third entree would be ready. The server said that dish takes a long time to cook, and they brought it out quickly. Our experience would have been much better if the starters had come first, then all the entrees at once as is customary in most restaurants. Also, if a dish requires unusually long cooking time this should be communicated up-front.

Food was just “ok.” I got Pad Thai with a 1 out of 5 spice level, and it was extremely spicy. My husband who prefers a lot of spice tried it and it was almost too much spice for him. We picked up the food, and it was difficult to find a parking spot. Some positives were that the prices were decent, the order was ready on time, and the food was hot even after we drove home.

We’ve been coming to this place for 5 years now. We support this business and believe in their food. Theres some changes in the menu we noticed but they need to adapt to the changing times. They put the same heart in their food and that I will gladly pay for. Stay Strong Chada Thai!
