Great place! Highly recommended! My friend and I were in the mood for a curry. Ordered the Yellow Curry and Massaman Curry. Both were excellent. They’re open for lunch, then close for a couple of hours, and reopen for dinner@4pm. We got there around 4:00 and they were already very busy with what I assumed were take out orders. Service was very fast and the food came out piping hot. Portions are very generous. By 4:30, the place was starting to fill up.

I really enjoyed my my food from this place. I’ve been here three times and each time I find something new that I love! So far, my favorites are the thai chicken wings, and the pad woon Sen noodles. I especially like these noodles because they are glass noodles and can be considered low carb for people the might have dietary restrictions. The crab Rangoon is delicious also. They are very reasonably prices and give large portions for the entrees and rice and noodle dishes, however, I do find that their starters/appetizers are a bit pricey and and really small portions for the price. Also, you can ask for glass noodles as a replacement to and dish that comes with rice noodles to make it be lower carb if you’re a person like me that watches your carb intake, and I absolutely love that! Also, i like that the food isn’t over seasoned, it’s always just the perfect amount of sauce and season and it is never overpowering in taste. They are definitely worth checking out!

I’ve been fortunate to eat Thai across the US and I can unequivocally say Chai Thai Lao has some of the best I’ve eaten, which is hard to imagine being in a small city like BR. The Khao Soi was extraordinary and the Thai tea was great. I highly recommend this place.

Located this new restaurant through Google maps because my usual Thai restaurant (Thai Pepper) wouldn’t be open for another 2 hours.

If you want authentic Thai served by some of the hardest workers in the area, then RUN, don’t walk, to this joint. The inside is on the smaller size and is perfect for an impromptu date night. If you ordering for a bigger party, you’ll probably want to order to-go. The Mother-Daughter duo that runs this joint impress the hell out of me. The menu is limited, but I think that is by design. This place serves quality rather quantity. PLEASE give them your business.

We ordered crab Rangoon, yellow curry with shrimp, masaman curry with beef and mango sticky rice. All of it was extremely delicious! We ordered the curries medium and they were pretty spicy. The crab Rangoon is by far the best in Baton Rouge and possibly the best we’ve had. We will definitely be back!

Wait time was long (about 30 min for two entrees) because of the grand opening and being slammed but boy oh boy food was delicious. Best crab ragoons and red curry I have had in a really long time! Highly recommend!

Best Thai you’ll get in BR. It’s got the spice, the home style cooking, and the best Thai tea you’ll get out here. The owners are so extremely kind and caring, they treat you like family coming over to eat. Please support this place and give it a try im a harsh critic of Thai food and this place has my approval… which only means something to me but just take my word and try these ladies cooking. If you e never ordered Thai before go with a classic order of chicken pad Thai, mild spice, and a tea. And trust me, if you really like spicy food they will help you out generously with the Thai hot option hahahaha
