Best Authentic Mexican Food in Globe, Arizona. I grew up dining at this restaurant. It’s always an excellent decision to dine in or order to go. I order a Bean Burro, Enchilada style with side of rice. Chimichangas and Enchiladas are recommended as well.

Very busy place, service was polite but slow due to the dinner rush. The food was “okay”, I ordered the advertised on the building Carne Asada Burro. The meat was oddly spongy in texture, the beans and rice were good.

The staff are friendly, checked up on us throughout our meal. The food is nice and hot (I had to blow on it to cool it down). I got a simple 3 tacos w/ rice and beans. They offer 2 different salsas (one ‘regular’ and the other spicy). I appreciate that the spicy salsa is actually spicy/hot . Only minor thing was the chips were stale, but besides that I would recommend this place. Great sevice!

First time there, all was excellent. The food was amazing, the beans, like Nana used to make the service was awesome. Our next visit to Globe, definitely will eat there again. The chile rellenos, great, but not spicy at all. Need some spice!!!

Very hard to earn a 5 star review, because I save those for the absolute best places. This place has set a new bar to my Mexican cuisine palate. Cozy local atmosphere, fresh food, impressive blends of flavors, warm homey servers, extreme value to the quality! You can tell this establishment cares about the overall experience! Told my husband near the end of our meal I was sad, sad I may never have a chance to come back to this restaurant again. (We’re in the area special for a funeral…we live out of state.). Oh if we lived here, I would set this place as our weekly go to!

It was an hour and a half before closing, and they straight up told us we couldn’t order because they “were closing soon”. Why have the sign show the hours if they’re not the correct hours? Also feel like they were discriminating because someone went in after us and they were attended and got to order AFTER us. Makes no sense. Place needs to get its priorities straight. Sangrones y muy creídos, no saben atender la gente. Que se vallan a la fregada! Nunca iré aquí jamás.

We did some research before choosing Chalos. It seemed like the best place and we weren’t disappointed. The food was spicy as promised. The service was extremely friendly and hospitable. I’m taking a star off just because I thought it was a bit expensive for the amount of food. Regardless it was tasty but was surprised to see a $30 tab for 2 people.
