This Japanese curry restaurant is a unique addition to the Old Town Pasadena food scene! I appreciated that they had vegan curry, which was surprisingly delicious. I would add on grilled vegetables and perhaps extra rice for a filling lunch.

The BEST BEST japanese curry in LA! and So very happy they opened a location in Pasadena. We’ve order the chicken, pork and minced beef katsu and all delicious. For convenience, if you order online, the parking structure has 15 min free parking.

Grilled vegetable curry with rice was tasty! I drank the curry because it was so yummy. Side salad was better than usual because the dressing was good and interesting. Japanese macaroni is always good. Food came out quickly and the place was clean. Definitely adding this to my weekday rotation.

I had it take out just because I like to play wild games with new places. The fried chicken held amazingly well after being inside a to-go box for 10 minutes. Obviously you’d want to have it right away for the more ideal experience. However when the food is still flawless even in its lesser than ideal condition, you know the place isn’t overhyped at all.

The beef katsu sandwich was very good. Easy to eat, more like a ground beef patty, which is good. Not sure why they didn’t have a chicken katsu sandwich. The spice in the curry was just right, nothing overpowering but noticeable.
