The food was genuinely good. We had a dozen raw oysters and an order of frog legs. The oysters were really good but I did not have the frog legs. My husband said they were delicious. Our server was AWESOME! We have not been to Champs for a long time and it was good to taste the same deliciousness!

This place is amazing! We were greeted with two amazing hostesses that made us feel right at home. We got sat within a matter of 2 mins on a very busy bingo night. Our waitress Karley was exceptional! She nailed our order, and our food came out just hot, fresh, and right on time after our appetizer. Miles nailed our drinks as usual, and he really gives the place an amazing vibe with his majestic mullet. I can’t stress enough how amazing this place is. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and now that I’m an adult, I can’t wait to share these experiences with my children ❤️

Fantastic. We ended up here after going to Millers Ale House. We wanted a French Dip with Au Jus. Millers Ale House only has on Fridays and it was a Saturday. Surprising that Yelp didn’t gave this as an option and it was like 20 down the list on Google. Decent reviews so we tried it. First time here. Place looks tiny outside but pretty big inside. We sat at bar with Athena as the bartender. The atmosphere was calm, friendly, and inviting. Very laid back feel. They were busy but no one was complaining and we never felt rushed. French Dip was great. Onion rings and curly fries were great. Beer was cold and refreshing. Overall, great experience and we will definitely be back. Lots in the menu I’d be willing to try.

Great sports bar and grill. Loved the boneless wings and Philly Cheese steak is bomb…even with chicken! Service has been great every visit (up to 5 visits now). A word not often used anymore when purchasing anything – VALUE! Take your family, it’s affordable too!

Usually this place has great food. Now they missed it tonight big time. We ordered the “Best Burger In Town,” it was an insult to burgers everywhere. The bun was twice as big as the meat and completely overcooked, which wasn’t surprising since the burger patty was so small. I would have contacted them, but they were on a wait and I had already made it home. The kitchen needs quality control help.

I got the feeling that they were short staffed. Just be patient and they will get to you. I had the Philly cheese steak and it was fantastic. I thought that the Cole slaw was excellent also. I will definitely be back for more.

I’ve been coming here more often lately and I regret not doing so earlier. With the trivia, bingo, and other crowd pleasers this is really a fun place. Food prices are good and drink prices are even better.

We just moved to Lakeland & wanted to dine outdoors which Champs offers. To our disappointment they allow smoking outside, so we ate inside. The servers were very nice and the food came out fast. I had the buffalo shrimp, the shrimp was soggy it was probably frozen. My husbands steak was tough and the green beans which seemed canned had meat in them which made them salty. Very disappointed in the meal and not being able to enjoy the fresh outside air. The staff was all great.
