The star of the show here is fried chicken… You definitely want to have that! The fried green tomatoes were really flavorful. Also the catfish was really good. The Mac and cheese was just ok. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is super fun. Would come back!

If you find yourself in Chattanooga wanting some Fried chicken try Champys!! Chicken was delicious! Very fairly priced I got the 2 piece dark meat plate 11$ with 2 sides.. the atmosphere is fun reminds you of a beach restaurant! I ate outside even though it was 100 out they had plenty of fans and the waitress kept my sweet tea glass full!

Cool spot for outdoor seating and a drink. Don’t miss getting the hushpupies or sleep on the grilled chicken strips as they were both amazing. My personal favorite was the spicy chicken sandwich which came with the perfect heat and flavor. Add to that they have cherry Fanta basically like getting free refills on an icee.

Such a fun and laid back atmosphere! Had the sausage gumbo which had a good amount of spice to it. Got to try some catfish from a neighbor, very kind! Probably some of the best catfish I’ve ever had. I plan to go back and get it today! Had the cherry limeade mixed drink, it was very tasty!

We LOVE this place. 1st time here and we were so impressed by how flavorful the food is. The chicken is so tasty and cooked to perfection. Definitely better than any other other fried chicken out there. Their tamales are exquisite. Best coleslaw I have ever had too. I usually hate it, but this one is not your typical coleslaw it has a different flavor to it. Their beans are delicious, a perfect mixture of sweet and salty. Their green beans are absolutely delicious. The gumbo did not disappoint. It definitely has a cajun flavor and it’s a bit spicy. The fries were pretty good as well. Their drinks are good too.
