Popped in for a quick lunch and found a good selection of tacos on the menu. The tripas were nice and crispy which you don’t always find other places so probably my favourite that I tried. I’d happily go back again. It’s not in the very best tacos I’ve had but they were good.

I’ve eaten at Chandos for at least 5 years at Arden, Power Inn, 15th, the truck and it always been Deeelish. I stopped at the shop on J St. I requested lettuce wraps and was told they offer them any more even though they were on the menu. I ordered the quesatacos, which I’ve had often. I ordered the birria, grilled talapia and adobo. The quesa was very over cooked I couldn’t eat them. There was barely any birria it was ok because it was an unrecognizable bland mush. When I got home to eat I was surprised, disappointed and embarrassed because I had recommended the birria to other customers.

This place has been highly recommended by numerous people my friend worked with. After checking out the menu and looking at pictures, I was totally down to try it! We placed an order to go and we’re told that it would be ready in about 45 minutes. Well I really enjoyed the queso taco, how can you go wrong with a taco shell made of cheese?? I have to say that my favorite was the Carne Asada nachos. I also got to have a few bites of my husbands chorizo burrito and it was lovely. But again, the Carnegie Sada was the big winner for me because it had such a great flavor!
