The food was really good and inexpensive. Besides the fish balls and noodles they have a couple more options on similar themes like dumplings, and tripe. Everything is on the simpler side. They have a small side table that fits 4 or 5 people, but it’s intended to take to go.

GREAT FOOD!!! I’d highly recommend eating here for anyone looking for a NYC experience and supporting the absolute power couple serving up steaming hot noodles. These are the types of people that run New York. Respect the hustle.

On my way to the subway station and stopped by here, only to realize I was visiting a location I had saved in my “Want to Go” list It was a quiet day and I got to have a conversation with the owners. They used to operate a food cart down by Grand Street and after moving to this new permanent location, they’ve noticed former older-aged customers of theirs returning after their relatives saw videos referring to this permanent storefront. Super kind couple operating the place, would love to find and support more restaurants like this.

coming from the fish ball cart to Bayard, these fish balls are one of the best in town. soft and springy, these are undeniably hand made and by someone who is passionate about what they are doing.

Beef Tripe, Radish, Fish Ball Cheung Fun – Rice roll texture was smooth and pretty good, softer than Fu Yuan but peanut sauce was weaker and less fragrant. Beef Tripe was cooked nicely and well seasoned, along with a nice snappy and chewy texture. The fish balls were soft but not bouncy.

Tried the oyster sauce fish balls rice rolls and pig skin rice rolls. Rice roll noodles had the perfect texture and the fish balls were some of the best I’ve had in a while too.

Highly recommend their rice noodles with fish balls. If you’re extra hungry, go for their rice noodles with fish balls AND beef tripe mix. Whether you go with the curry fish balls or “original or regular” fish balls, it’s all good choices.

Really delicious rice noodle rolls. The small for $5.75 is still a generous portion – I got the pork skin and really liked it. The owners are so sweet and I’m so happy that they were able to open this new storefront!

I’ve been following the owner since he sold rice rolls on grand street. His rice rolls are hands down the best in Chinatown. The portions are pretty big and the prices are fair. If you want to experience the local Chinatown eatery , this is a staple.
