We had a group of 8. Most of us were pretty happy with the experience. Service was good. Prices were fair. Kids were real happy with breakfast. Big kids portion sizes. Mexican skillet was great. Would recommend added seasoning in the kitchen, to stop making your own ketchup and making sure the restrooms are stocked with paper towels every morning.

The service is slow, the cooks are slow, and the waitresses wear clothes that are way too revealing for breakfast. I’ve always had a problem since it turned into Fryers. I really wanted to like them, but I can’t. When I finally asked, when I was waiting an hour for my breakfast, how much longer it would be for 2 adults and 1 8-year-old to come out, the waitress laughed and said, “the owners”. We ended up waiting an hour for breakfast (it wasn’t crowded) and left a couple bucks on the table for our drinks and had to go find so where else to eat. Just not my ideal way of spending my Sunday morning. Sorry.

We went for “Taco Tuesday” but unfortunately Fryer’s wasn’t having a good day. Our poor waitress seemed overwhelmed with only a few patrons in the bar because the kitchen staff was useless. We ordered a couple tacos each and some nachos for a little variety. After 30 minutes we still hadn’t gotten anything. When food finally did come, the tacos were just ok. When the nachos finally came(after we were done w tacos), they were slapped together greasy chips, unseasoned beef, and canned cheese. Not the “nachos supreme” we thought we were getting. Sent them back and ran.

When we walked in the first thing I noticed was that our server wasn’t wearing a face mask, as is required in the state of Illinois. I ordered fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The chicken was under cooked, and the potatoes were scooped out by hand because I could clearly see the four finger marks. Upon inspecting the potatoes I found mouse droppings in them!! Never ever eat here.

Small serving sizes, specials are not what are on the menu so Dont think your getting a menu burger for a dollar on Monday cause it will be more like a McDonalds burger. Any thing that I have bought ends up being smaller than anywhere I have ever eaten. Philly cheese steak more bun then steak, gyro has four pieces of gyro. Prices are premium. Had one person take my order then serve us then go home, so someone else brought the bill and we didn’t know who to tip. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one, is because the food tasted good. Did I say that I got my coslaw in a shot glass.
