It’s okay. Not really great options for Chinese in McMinnville. Paid $7 for a medium egg drop soup because they didn’t have enough for a big one.. so, paid for a big one, got medium. Then, they’d bagged it sideways. So half of it spilled. I tried to secured it but the bag just made it turn sideways.

I don’t know how this place has so many good reviews. Bland fried rice. Cold & dry BBQ pork. Fried shrimp was mostly breading. Sweet & sour chicken had barely any sauce and was also mostly breading; the meat was dry & tough. Returned food uneaten and only received 20% off of our total bill (which is equal to $5) when the uneaten meal alone was $15+. I can’t say I’m surprised. It’s a Chinese food restaurant after all.

My aunt and uncle used to take me here when I would come visit Oregon when I was younger. I have never forgotten it. My wife and I are on an Oregon Coast trip and detoured to Chan’s. We were so glad we did. Still THE BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had. Huge portions, the best flavor, and great service. I still compare every Chinese restaurant that I go to, to Chan’s, and nothing ever compares.
