We tried to like this place but after our most recent experience we’ll never go back there again. Ordered two entrees, fried shrimp, and BBQ. Every other Chinese place gives us at least a medium sized steamed rice. Not this place. We got the smallest container they make. On top of that the BBQ pork was ice cold and barely even cooked fully. We’re going to the Chinese place in Mt. Angel from now on there food is much better, and cheaper too.

The food was awful, the chicken was so tough, you couldn’t even cut it with a knife. We ordered reg. size combos, we received “mini size”, good thing the food was horrible, didn’t feel so bad throwing it away!

The food here is good, the prices are very reasonable and staff are super kind and attentive. It’s not usually busy. The pork fried rice tastes amazing. The egg rolls are huge.

I’ve been going to Chan’s for many years and have never found a better place for American Chinese food anywhere in the U.S. Their barbecue pork is especially great, simply the best I’ve ever had. The owners are extremely friendly and great hosts. This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Silverton.

09/26/21 DO NOT EAT HERE! The food was very nasty, i ordered general chicken and chicken lo mein. $22 wasted, I didn’t eat any of it. When I pulled the food out of the bag it smelt a bit weird, but I tried it anyway. I took my first bite of general chicken which was dry and hard, It honestly tasted like it was old or bad, I promptly spit it out. So then I tried the lo mein, it also tasted as if it was rotten. I through 22 dollars worth of food away and now have to go buy something else to eat. Save yourself the disappointment and money don’t eat here.
