Chanticleer Eatery is located in Grayton Beach off the beaten path but well worth the effort to find. It is a local’s spot and a hidden gem of a restaurant that actually makes food from scratch in portions large enough to fill you up and creative enough to encourage you to work your way through the menu. It is not about fancy food it is all about good food and good company. You are welcome to wear your flip flops and shorts at both dinner and lunch and you may even bring your fur baby if you would like to sit outside! We make everything we can from scratch and feel like if something doesn’t require and good bit of effort it is probably not worth doing. EAT HERE! You won’t regret it! Everything is amazing. Do know that they only have appetizers from 3-4p during happy hour. We had the bread app with homemade sliced bread and garlic herb dip, nachos, cobb salad, club sandwich, & pulled pork. Drinks were just as good as the food, but the food was the star. I mean, this was some of the best food we’ve had anywhere, not just 30A! Loved the waitstaff that was friendly, kind, and attentive. The pulled pork was succilent and tasty, and the club, although a simple sandwich, was amazing again with help of homemade bread.

Unbelievable that this place was not packed. Great food and service. Appetizers, salads and meals were all delicious and flavorful. Our server was the best. The shrimp were Gulf fresh as well as all the seafood. Pork chops, chicken and steaks were also highly recommended. Hidden gem, but not for long.

I love this place. Every year we make our daily trip to have lunch or dinner here. This year we choose dinner and it was the best. They always greet you with a smile, informative of all the day’s specials and the adult beverages are made really well. A few new items have been added to the menus and I had to do the Salmon. Don’t kid yourself it was the best I’ve enjoyed. After dinner and a few of the pineapple mojitos it was Key lime pie time. Yes it was that good. Please make this little gem a stop for lunch or dinner during your visit to the beach you will thank yourself for going. Believe me!!!

One of my favorites! Went for a late lunch at 3. Ordered the grilled chicken bruschetta sandwich, which I always order because it’s SO good! They don’t have it on the dinner menu so go at lunch to try it! My husband got the Ruben and loved it as well! Service was great as usual!
