Came in tonight to get some good pit beef with my daughter, she’s never been now she loves it. Followed the rainbow here after the storm. I’ve been hooked for a while now she is too. Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Everything cooked perfectly

Generous portions of meat in every sandwich. The meat for the Pit Beef Sandwich was cooked exactly how I requested (medium rare) and was cut nice and thin. The Reuben was delicious also. I didn’t need any extra sauces or condiments on either sandwiches. Will definitely come back next time to try the sauces and other sandwiches.

By far the worst pit beef Iv ever had. And very expensive. The meat 100 percent is not smoked. More like boiled . Had absolute no Smokey flavor . It’s like comparing McDonald’s to a restaurant. I stop at every pit beer place I see. Save your money. Very very cheap meat. Terrible selection of sauces. For sure will never go back. Employees was all nice and fast though.

Trying regional foods is a something to be commended, except in this situation. The pit beef lacked flavor without the tiger sauce or other condiments. The corned beef saved the sandwich I had. The packaged condiments could be labeled to help newcomers like myself. I feel bad for the employees who looked like they would rather be anywhere else. Restaurant is huge but when I visited just had about 8 customers. Also the gravy is nothing to write home about it. Just way too expensive for what you can get.

The food here is as bland as it gets. I was at least expecting salt and pepper, but that wasn’t even used. Definitely will not be back. The banana pudding all have turning bananas and dead bugs on the container. I had a pickup order and didn’t receive any sauces or utensils. Really mad they have the audacity to claim to be “Baltimore Style”. What Baltimore are they from? This is a disgrace. I could have saved my money.

First time to this location. Little slow but worth the wait. I had the Richwich and my wife had the Turkey Rachel. Both were very good. It’s called Chaps Pit Beef but the turkey is awesome.

I mean, it’s still Chaps. But it doesn’t have the charm of Pulaski Highway. The staff look bored and don’t seem to work hard at all.

I came in for dinner with my mother. We ordered two pit beef and a large fries, When we got home to eat. The sandwiches were soggy, the fries were overcooked and soggy as well. For what I spent I will say I’m not impressed and will not be back.

I’ve been a chaps fan for as long as they have been around. Remembering the big sandwiches you would get. Quality isnt there like the old days.the amount of meat you get on a sandwich has gone out the window. And for the price, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Had to take a second look to see if there was anything between the buns. I never leave reviews, but this just broke me. Childhood favorite pitbeef no more. Thanks for the memories, Gus and Bob.
