This guy is working sushi miracles from the confines of a humble (but cute & clean) food truck. I live about a mile away from the Ala-Carts food cart pod. Easily walkable. Yet I never went there… A few months ago I had a hankerin’ for good sushi & Googled “Sushi near me”… What showed up? You guessed it. Chapter 1.

The BEST poke bowls!! Everything is super fresh and delicious. I can’t figure out what kind of sauce they put on that rice but I could eat an entire bucket. The salmon is superb. I’ve been back weekly since I discovered it 😉

Delicious! We just got chapter 1 tonight and the veggie roll had multiple types of veggies unlike some other places. The Portland roll had a nice, strong eel sauce on top and lots components – and the owner gave us a bowl of miso soup.
