Every time we’re on the East coast we have to stop at Char-Hut. Love the burgers (and messy fries mmm), everything is made fresh and there’s lots of variety. The place is a bit run down but you can’t find this flavor at a fast food place.

Stopped by around noon, place gets busy for lunch but service was good. Food takes a bit long because they are made to order. Tried the Cowboy burger and a Char Hut burger, both were so big and delicious! Why we loved it: you get choices of breads, you can load your burger with any toppings at the line, and you can get a combo with any type of fries…those chili cheese fries were gone quick!

Prices are ridiculous. The only part of the meal that had flavor was the side items, meaning the rice with beans and the chili. The fries were so bad the kids didn’t even care to eat them. Never again.

My fiancé has been eating here for over 20 years. He introduced it to me a few months back and I’ve been hooked. Great food and always great service. We’re always greeted with a smile.
