If you are looking for a hole in the wall that serves a great burger in North Lake Tahoe, look no farther. The burgers were all great, and my wife was able to get a Portobello sandwich. The fries were also hot and crispy. Everything is cooked to order and they are small, so this leads to a little bit of a wait time. But it is well worth it.

In my discriminating opinion, their onion rings are unparalleled in taste. They achieve the perfect balance of crispiness without being greasy or soggy (The fries are basic). As for their mushroom burger and Cajun chicken, they are delicious! Now, when it comes to the staff, it’s a mixed bag. The cashier we encountered during our visit was incredibly friendly, but unfortunately, the staff responsible for bagging orders seemed a bit grumpy. I can’t entirely blame them considering the apparent understaffing. However, one aspect that could use improvement is the restroom situation. With only one available, the queue tends to become quite lengthy. Nonetheless, the overall experience remains delicious and enjoyable.

Cute old-school little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly people and tasty burgers. I’ve got the classic burger combo with fries, it was $15 with some change, and the food was good. Great place for a lunch or dinner if you’re visiting Kings Beach.

It’s true that the restaurant isn’t very clean, but the food is delicious. They only have burgers, fries, baskets with deep fried stuff and sandwiches, but the prices and the taste are great.

This place used to be awesome. It’s really gone done hill over the years. This will be the last time we go there. We were the first to order and our meal took about 20 mins. Fries were Luke warm (not sure how that’s possible being the first people there); burgers were blah at best: the place is very dirty … Bathroom seemed like a college bar. And to top it all off there milk shake machine was broken. Save your money…I know there aren’t a ton of options in kings beach but I’d drive 15-20 mins and go somewhere better.

Avoid! The portions were small, the food was cold, the restaurant is filthy, the prices are ridiculous (I understand it’s a tourist trap but this is absurd), they threw our order on the counter spilled half our fries. The shrimp platter came with 3 small pieces of shrimp. Highway robbery. Save your money and go elsewhere. That being said, the cashier was quite friendly but the place overall is such terrible value.
