Food was tasty but service was horrible. We felt so rush and it wasn’t even busy. We weren’t even done eating and waitress brought the bill without asking if we wanted anything else. Then came back 5mins later as we’re still eating to see if we left a card, which we obviously didn’t. Then as my friend is eating and talking the waitress came back up and almost grabbed her plate from her – mind you she didn’t ask if she was done or anything. Just horrible ! Seems like they clearly didn’t want us there & We will not be returning back.

Came to this place with my family for lunch and left very upset and disappointed. I had the same exact problem than the person who reviewed before. We were not told that 18% gratuity was included in the bill and was hit with $36.00 dollars over our regular Bill. If the service was great, I wouldn’t mind it, but the service was not worth it. I always tip, but the tip varies depending on the quality of the service. The lady waiter was in a hurry. She was the only one there in charge of the tables and the pick up, and even when there were not a lot of people dining, you could notice she got overwhelmed. The rice with shrimps was a good amount but it was dry and with no flavor. The chicken quarter was tiny to the point that we had to order another one for a little kid. The prices are very high for the type of restaurant and the quality of the food. I’m all about supporting small businesses, especially Latinos, since I believe we should have each other’s back, but we know better than to offer this type of poor service and impose a gratuity without letting us know in advance; so we could decide if we wanna pay it or not. I am not gonna be a returning customer.

I work at the veterans hospital which makes me a healthcare worker, the cardiologist chief of staff surgeon ordered food for the whole department 40 people for lunch and which was supposed to have been catered and delivered , the food was already paid for over $500 it was confirmed the day before through the website, supposed to been delivered at 12:30 at 12:39 I called to confirm the estimated arrival time at that time they said that there was no delivery told me the food was ready come pick it up I explained to them that we were working and unable to pick up all that food they pretended not to be able to speak English but someone else on the phone who hung up the phone on me they were very rude the food was good but the catering that the website say they do is so wrong. So please do not order food from them.

I hadn’t eat here in years I moved out of Ct over13 years ago. I decided to stop in based on the memory of their delicious Arrozo con Pollo. It is still delicious. It not in expensive as dinner for 2 cost ran about $20 each. I picked up dinner and my interactions with the staff were both pleasant and polite. I’m giving 4 stars on account of pricing it just seems high for chicken, rice, beans and plantains. It deserves five stars for the flavors and preparation. OK I’m changing it to 5 a small business surviving for more than 20 years and maintaining this quality deserves kudos

Their food is great. When it came time to pay they charged 18% for the tip and they did not tell us it would be added in the bill. The bill was WAY more then what we calculated. I used to love coming here and never had a bad expirience till now. Nevee again will I dine in.
