We ordered a chicken sandwich and the pizza slice combo. The pizza was great and it was surprisingly a big portion. I opted for the cesar salad, it was ok, I wasnt too crazy about the powdered parm on top. The sandwich was very flavorful too. We received friendly service, however, it was a little disorganized and it took a while to place and received our order.

This was our first visit to Charlew’s. It was pretty good! Great vegetarian options! My husband had chicken Alfredo, minus the tomatoes and green onions with a side choice of the minestrone soup. The soup was better than any other minestrone he had ever had. It has pork in it, so he said it was almost like a really great Italian ham and bean with carrots.

We had good and fast service, and plentiful tasty food. We shared a juicy chicken breast (protein plate) with vegetables, 1/2 l of wine and a slice of cheesecake. The space is pleasant. My only critique was the over-use of the phrase “you guys!”

I feel sorry for the staff at this place, it’s obvious that the owners are greedy and don’t want to schedule enough people, so they completely overwork and overwhelm the few employees they have. Unfortunately, this is reflected in the quality of food there. The bathroom was a disaster, trash over flowing and looked like no one had emptied it in some time. Not what you want to see at a restaurant! Long wait times, overwhelmed food servers and cooks, who are trying to keep up but they can only go so fast. Seems like it’s probably a toxic work environment
