I ordered a four piece chicken tender meal. Everything was hot and fresh.. The chicken tenders were OK didn’t have much flavor though. Potato wedges same as the chicken, not much flavor. The biscuit was awful.

I lowered my ratings cause the gizzards were so good the 1st time but the last couple times part of the orders were over cooked and some stuck in big clusters filled with uncooked breading.

The chicken here is amazing but be prepared to wait, even with a phone order. The sides are average, but very appealing for a family. Not a fan of the place itself and the food prep/cashier was friendly but a little disorganized. There truly is something about the prep though, so whatever he’s doing…

1.5 stars. This was my first ever order from them and they got it wrong and took an hour and a half to deliver. The biscuits are the worst biscuits I’ve ever had from anywhere, ever. I could make better biscuits from the store. The mashed potatoes are mediocre. The chicken is about 3 stars, which is the only reason this isn’t one star, but I don’t think I will ever be ordering from them again. With food like this, I’d be surprised if they stay in business for very long around here when there’s so many better options. Very disappointing.

I was in Sunday for a family chicken meal. Although chicken was “ok” the rest of the meal we had to throw away. The side portions were only enough for barely 2 people. The mashed potatoes were horrid. They are fake potatoes made with straight water, I dont know what changed? It was never this way before? Maybe cutting corners? Mac and cheese was dry as well. To add insult to injury the kids working the counter forgot ALL our biscuits and we got none. To call themselves a chicken place is really unacceptable. I will not be back, even if they do re-open at some point

Where to begin… My son has been asking for chicken legs for days so I decided we would try Charley Biggs to support local and a small business. Their website offered an order online option and it said 30 minutes for delivery. After placing the order, it said it would be delivered by 6:38 pm. At 6:46 pm I get a call from them saying they just got my order because the company they use (I guess for their website?) called and told them that they had an order. The guy was polite but told me it was just him and another guy and the other guy didn’t know how to run the register. So I’m guessing it was one person to cook and one to run the register. The guy told me he had to call in a co-worker to deliver our food but she lives just down the road so it would be 10 minutes. I tried asking him to refund the delivery charge and I would pick it up but he told me he didn’t know “how to use this tablet thing.” I decided to just go with it and hope the food was good. Our order was finally delivered at 7:20 pm. One of our sides was wrong and they didn’t send our biscuits. The food was barely warm and mediocre at best. I was truly hoping for another local place to order from but we will not be ordering again. Don’t offer delivery if you don’t have people to deliver your food and please teach your staff how to properly use the equipment you have. Very disappointed.

Got a family deal for carryout – chicken was hot and decently crispy but had almost no salt or flavor at all. The chicken was greasy, but the grease somehow tasted like water? Potato wedges were barely crispy and not very soft, also with a distinct lack of salt. The biscuits were thick and fluffy, but had no flavor and just gummed up your mouth instantly. The one saving grace was that the Mac and cheese was creamy with good cheese flavor, but that was the only enjoyable part of the meal.
