Normally a Perfect Experience. Today, 5/28/2021, my wife who work on Fort Lee attempted to get us a Charley’s Steak Sandwich; she arrived around 3:30 pm/est to be told they are closed. Closed at 3 pm/est. Totally surprising as all the other restaurants in the PX had lines literally out the door; hope all is well. I have now been waiting for over 30 minutes for my sandwich. You have an employee standing around watching other employees working. You have a manager who is doing absolutely nothing while at least 10 people are waiting for their food. Some people have been waiting longer than I have. You have employees working at a slower than snail pace. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but this is just pathetic.

Went to this place again today. The website says it closes at 6:00 PM its 3:03 today they are closed. Yesterday I was told they closed at 4:00 PM. Today there were 2 people in line paying for their food. I served in the military and it is so disrespectful for a service connected disabled veteran can not get served while people are still in line. If you close at 3:00 then why are you still taking money as I walk up?

Today was the first time I have been to Charley’s and it was by far an AWFUL experience. My boyfriend ordered first then I order a sandwhich and she gave the total… When I said I’d like a drink she rolled her eyes and added it but I never received my drink .. I had to go elsewhere for my drink and fries. Also they messed up 2 sandwhiches.. the first had the wrong cheese and the second had peppers when I said no peppers…. But I was told it was just from the guys food they were making next to mine. That’s no reason for it to be in mine. I will never go back.

Very quick service, very friendly service. My only complaint would be that my order was not given to me all at once. I had to wait for my fries after I was given my sandwich. But that wasnt a big deal, it was still a great experience
