I’ve been eating at Charley’s for years and love their food. The food I had at the Marion location was good. When I pay $10 for a sandwich, I expect the bun to be completely covered, this one was not. I know the employees are following instructions on how much meat to use, but serve a sandwich you can be personally proud of. My total meal with fries and a drink was $15.51, a lot to pay to walk away not completely satisfied. I’m not sure which sandwich I’d have to order to get one as full as the ones in their advertisements. I’ll be back cause I like the food and believe in second chances.

Charlie’s cheesesteak has become one of my favorite restaurants. I got the Kentucky bourbon cheesesteak for the 1st time and that’s a sweet treat to beat! I have been to a few of them here in Ohio and I’ve yet to have a bad sandwich. Marion had just opened everybody was new but you couldn’t tell. Service was great!

So very disappointing for a first-time visit. Order was supposed to be ready and to my car in 7min. 20 mins later still no food to my car so I went in. My food was sitting on the counter. 3 people working (2 cooks and the window girl) not one person came over to talk to me for 2 more minutes. Finally one of the guys came over and I told him all I need is my food that is sitting on a cold counter.

The food is phenomenal. Just tried the Bacon 3 Cheese and it’s a game changer for me for sure! The staff is friendly. Only 2 complaints…you can’t get a cup of water (they want to sell you bottled water…greedy much). The cleanliness wasn’t bad but could’ve used a quick run-through. With the low traffic coming in the door, it would’ve only taken a few minutes to wipe down tables and sweep floors.

In March 2023 this is a newer restaurant for Marion, Ohio so the earliest reviews are perhaps a bit harsh as the place was still ramping up for business after just opening. Regardless, I gave them a try and never had Charley’s before. I ordered the classic signature sandwich Philly Cheesesteak with everything which includes steak, provolone cheese, onions, peppers, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. The bun was light but held together and just a touch chewy which I actually liked, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly large and I like that too because I don’t need the carbs. It comes in a large box container that holds everything in very well, but I will warn you it may be difficult to eat it neatly in front of coworkers and such and impossible to eat in the car! I got the regular size which was $9.99 and it was very filling and I felt appropriate value for the money. It was absolutely delicious! All the flavors worked very well together and it was not greasy at all. The steak was of decent quality although I did have a bit of gristle in one bite, but I’d rather have that than some over-processed mystery meat. I’ll definitely be back to try other menu options like their teriyaki chicken and their dressed up fries. It’s like Arby’s in the fact that it’s not cheapest, but it’s a level above other traditional fast food. I strongly recommend Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings!

Stopped for a quick lunch. Typically don’t eat at places with no cars in the parking lot or in line at a drive-thru. But I made an exception. Awesome Philly, and quick service with a smile. Stop here and grab a bite. Highly recommend
