July 2023: I was out late with the family, and we were hungry but tired of the same ole fast food deal. We had seen Charley’s and decided to give them a shot. Usually, we eat at Charley’s in a mall, but never in a in a free standing restaurant. We ordered 1 steak sandwich, 1 California chicken sandwich, 1 order of boneless wings with barbecue sauce on the side, and 2 orders of fries.

I was looking for a quick bite to eat in the area, and saw this on Google Reviews. I love a good cheesesteak with lots of toppings. This cheesesteak was definitely something I was looking for and hot the spot! The staff was friendly and was accommodating when I had a question related to the banana peppers they use. I ordered the Steak Philly Cheesesteak. It came with USDA choice steak, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and pickles. I added the banana peppers to mine and I am glad I did! I made it a combo with regular fries. They do have the option of a higher end combo that comes with a side a fries topped with melted cheese and bacon! The combo also comes with a fountain drink. There are three different sizes for the sandwiches (small, regular and large). I chose the regular. I can usually eat a lot of food, and the regular filled me up. The fries were also a good portion. I only waited a few minutes for my food and was in/out of there within 15-20 minutes. If you are looking for a cheesesteak with lots of toppings this is a great place to go to.

Surprise! It was good . I got the Philly steak sandwich I couldn’t pick lots to select from annnd forgot my coupon! Ugh. ! Anyway, the line wasn’t long, and I was able to order pretty quickly. My sandwich was hot and the presentation was nice. I did have to pull to the side parking to wait a bit. But when I looked in the box, it was worth waiting. And the young man was super polite who bought it out.

I had Charley’s the first day they open of course it took a while the line was literally out the door plus I like my food done and fresh so I never have a problem waiting for my food at places I dine. I waited to write a review because reviews last forever I like to give honest reviews I have been to Charley’s a number of times since and each time my food is on point I love the old skool with extra cheese on the side and my nephew loves the bacon fries cheese on the side. I also love they employ the youth.
