This was one of the worst meals I have ever had!! There was very little chcice and what was there was picked over; mostly juice with a few green beans, the collards were half cooked and mostly stems. The cornbread was dry and hard, and mashed potatoes were dry and from a box. We were told they would bring our drinks but part way through our meal I went and asked if we could get a drink WHILE we were eating!! They finally brought us a drink out . One young man was behind the counter and while we were there, he brought out a pan of peach cobbler. It had very few peaches and was mostly a thick, soggy bread-like substance with no taste. There was zero juice, just the few peach pieces in that thick, soggy mess. That was the only thing he brought and most of the pans were empty with the rest nearly empty. The time was 1:20 pm so lunch rush was over when we got there! He then proceeded to stir all the pots, add crackers to the container and fluff up the salad ingredients. There was basically just 4 vegetable choices, green beans, collards, some kind of hot pepper with various beans soup stuff and the dry mashed potatoes. There was some kind of unrecognizable meat and that was ALL!!!

When u come to Charlie Bs u come to eat. I always do the Saturday morning breakfast buffe special. With a custom ultimate omelet they make infront of u. With fresh vegetables and meats. Double jalapeños for me

Go there on a weekly basis and like the food as there are not as many buffet restaurants as there once were. Their selection is pretty good for a small town local eatery which has a rich history. You will find a good selection of food and you can sit down or take out. You can fill your Styrofoam up and two people can actually eat off one take out. They open at 11 a.m. and people are usually standing outside in line to get in.

Made reservations and so did another group. There could be no excuse for the poor quality and lack of food on the buffet. Chicken fingers not edible, pork chops looked awful, meatloaf empty. No ranch dressing, only veggies green beans, tomatoes, and blackeyed peas.. not the usual buffet. Definitely not worth the price. Won’t be going back.
