This location is by far my favorite. The young ladies at drive through window are always kind. The foods always fresh and cooked to perfection. I truly appreciate the low salt option as I’m sensitive to salt. The okra is my favorite side, fried crispy just how I like them. Charlie D’s is my 1st and only choice for amazing fried fish!

Wow, just WOW!! We ordered the Basa Family Meal and they gave us enough for a party!! The fish was AMAZING, the fried okra was fresh and the greens were good. We are blown away at what we got for the price, cheaper and tasted better than Lutfis.

Best fish place in Kansas City! The fish is top-notch . Service is always from good to great. You might have to wait a little bit but it’s definitely worth it. And it really does favor very well against other fast food national chain fish places in terms of time. It is not cheap but Seafood never is. Tried it for the first time about 3 years ago and have been a huge fan of it ever since.

First time there. Only 1 person manning everything. He was super friendly and helpful in making a selection. I got a combo with fish and chicken, fried rice and French fries as the sides. The fish was great the fries oh my the fries, I need a plate of just those fries. The chicken was ok but could use a little more breading and seasoning. I didn’t care for the red beans and rice but that might have just been me because I’m picky . Don’t go if you are in a hurry because they cook to order so its fresh and that takes time. If you don’t like a lot of salt make sure you ask for light salt because they are a little heavy handed with the salt shaker.

Really good catfish and fried okra. Definitely not a dress up kinda place, which is fine with me. The people who work there are always very friendly. I do wish they would start having lemon wedges available as I prefer that to tartar sauce. Otherwise I really like this place.

This was our first visit, but definitely not our last ❣️The fish,sooo good, chicken wings are fantastic! green beans, potato salad, jambalaya ALL the sides were spot on. This is my fish place for sure. Please don’t ever change your recipes.

I had to give them a star to be able to review them. I went through the drive thru and the whole time I was there and it was a while, he was on the phone chatting away. The shrimp was gross and very slimy. I do have to say the hush puppies were good. I was unimpressed and probably won’t go back.

So I visited this store as it has become one of my fav restaurants, I was in drive thru line with a car in front of me placing an order. It was my turn and after waiting 15 min he turns me away. I was livid! I went to the store the following weekend where I met a young lady that allowed Mr to explain my sotry, she listened and them offered the me carrot cake for the inconvenience. Thank you alot ma’am the kids enjoyed our meal.
