Out of town to get our trucks onboarded and was looking for a gd spot to grab dinner. Heard this place was best fried chicken in town and they were not lying! This place was outstanding. We came for the buffet but then pivoted when we saw the prices for family dinners. Got the 16 piece chicken dinner and then just had to add the ribs and before we walked out the door had the cobbler thrown into the mix.

It’s a buffet… It gets busy at lunch but it’s my go to place. Fried chicken all the trimmings, small salad bar, different days they have different things added to the bar so it makes for a good variety. Sweet tea is really good and the ice cream machine is good too hit with the dessert after a filling lunch plate…

Food was delicious. The customers were a little weird but the manager was such a gentleman- he offered my husband and I first dibs on the fresh, fried squash. He was super nice!!!

I don’t have reason to complain. It’s the best fast food in Sallisaw. The chicken balls are excellent and the sides like coleslaw, potato salad and okra are quite tasty (and I generally don’t go for that sort of thing).

I had the pleasure of visiting Charlie’s Chicken in Sallisaw recently and I was beyond impressed! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, they even talked to my kids and made them feel special. The food was hot and fresh and there was plenty on the buffet to choose from. They even came by to check on us regularly to make sure we were having a good experience. They went above and beyond in more ways than one and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great meal!
